A truly Padang experience! A must try whenever you are in town.
Firstly, I have to say that am truly impressed with the warmth and the service of the staff. Very welcoming, and even that alone already sets the bar very high in terms of rating.
They would first serve the many dishes on the table (Padang style), plastic-wrapped, of course, for hygiene. Don't worry, you only pay what you eat/open. They'd come and "cross check" at the end of your meal before handing you the bill.
Now, a must try is their Ayam POP. Don't know why it is called that, but it tastes so good, especially with their Sambal Lombok Ijo (Green Chillies). Try their Rendang, as well as Cassava Leaves (Salad?) for real Padang experience.
One thing to note here, they are not exactly Padang-cheap.
In truth, here is the shorter version of this review. Their legendary customer service and their Ayam Pop are more than enough reasons to guarantee revisit.
