During check-in process staff made up random reason about why we had to pay there and not through Accor while Accor said it was paid through them. After that we weren't offered any help with suitcases, not that we needed it but it would have showed at least some hospitality.

Cappuccino was bad. Small swimming pool. Lobby would be nice to sit but is full with mosquitoes.
Extreme noisy room, it's like you're laying on the road. The building is clearly not made to be a hotel, as the windows are likely very thin. In weekend some fake drag cars were being noisy in front of the hotel and nothing was being done about that (which seems weird to me as you have security not to only open the hotel door I assume).

The room looks nice, so is the view, but that's about the only positive thing I can think of.

I'm happy to have received an email to write a review so I can mention all of this. There are plenty of hotels in Makassar, even in the same street. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I was staying for 1+2 weeks - mostly enjoying my day working from the hotel. Moving from street view to be pool view on the same 9th floor. Street view had more things to be seen but traffic sounds could be annoying at some point. Breakfast got many options but lack of specialities. None of them were delicious even the cereal or porridge. Bread and pastry taste were not fresh. I love the room and cleaning service. It has a lot of parking lot outside and underground. Not much you can expect from the gym but you can count on spacious lobby and lounge area to meet your guest.

I came here with my wife, we arrived with fully smile face greeting from the bellboy. They are very helpful. The receptionist was so cool, their dress and suit. All the staff was helpfull and kind.

I with my family have been here for three night, and it was an astonishing stay. The lobby is spacy, the good staff uniform and tha building is cool. Checl in was smooth, check out was fast. Thanks to Mercure for the great service!

This is a nice hotel strategically located in Pettarani Street, very close to coto restaurants, and cafes and mall along the Hertasning. It is a short distance to a toll gate to the airport. The room was clean and staff were friendly.

Almost everybody from the staff speaks very bad English. They pretend to understand you but they don't which causes things to repeatedly go wrong and you have to constantly check on them (this was the case with check-in, room service, etc.)

Restaurant menu seems extensive but it’s not. Many meals are always 'sold out'.

We took a massage but again: bad communication. There also were burps and the masseuses were talking and laughing during the massages. Not so pleasant.
