SERIOUSLY! If you are looking for that excellent cup of coffee, THIS IS THE PLACE.
Double Shot Cafe serves locally sourced coffee, from Toraja or Enrekang or some place around there. They also uses various methods of serving coffee, depending on customer requests such as V60, plungers, etc. AND all at very very decent price.
At the time of writing, their americano is literally half-priced of other coffee shops.
The baristas are very friendly. They recognise their customers by their orders. Sometimes even their habits. For example, I am one to order take-away, usually with my own tumblers/mugs, and usually quick.
The cafe is very small though and parking can be a nightmare. The seating is very limited and no air-con. Then again, given the price, one can't ask too much. (at the same time, if you want to experience that "local" and vintage feeling, this place is definitely high on my recommendation).
People do smoke in this place.
Do note that I hardly see any tourists or visitors in this cafe. Mostly it is flocked by the locals, craving for good coffee at bargain priced.
Avoid lunch breaks if you can, come early morning around 10:00 when the weather is still cool. You might be able to sit on the outside. If you are lucky, the local cats might come and say hello.
All in all, I'd say that while the seating and the cafe atmosphere can be "challenging", don't let it discourage you to visit this gem, for a great cup of coffee, decently priced and that friendly smiles from your baristas can set the right tone for your day!
