One of the two good cotos in Makassar. Located nearby the port, the parking that is available is street parking only.

Thick soup, good cut of meats, and the orange juice is refreshing. The only downside of this place is it is super hot as they almost dont have any fans.

This place offers Makassar's traditional food called Coto, it is a beef stew made from herbs and spices usually served with beef meat and beef offal. Most notably, This place is popular with the tourists and locals alike, as locals usually bring their guests including government officials here to introduce Coto to them. As for the taste, I personally enjoy them and they also provide some rice cakes called Ketupat to eat them with. The price is not exactly cheap but overall it is a quite filling meal. I would recommend going to this place to eat for tourists.

This Place is one of The Famous for Coto Makassar, signature dish of Sulawesi and always crowded by Coto Hunter. They said the soup is thicker than the other and the taste is awesome.
Many famous people came here and they took the picture and not forget to hang it at the wall for promotions.
first they will ask you for the meat items, meats or intestines
and with the speed of light comes the coto in a very small bowl, they provide Buras and Ketupat they are all Rice Cake choose one as you like as the accompanion
don't forget add more sea salt, sambal tauco and spring onion
the last is add some lime for the acidity

absolutely 5 stars for this dish

Taste great. Should try this when you visit Makassar. From airport you can take Damri Bus (cost 27.000) and stop just 100-150mtr from this restaurant. Meal cost around 30.000

Nice soup to try if u in Makassar but make sure you come here before you hungry because the line might be long and waiting time can be 10-15 minutes. But they have second floor if the first floor is full.. fair price for a small bowl of beef soup
