A Good Coto, but too mushy for my taste.
(PS: Coto has personal preference for each person)
The price is reasonable.

The service is fast u0026 running in traditional way, so don’t expect too much. Yet it is good service.

PS: please be aware that no social distancing practicing in here so.. it is your own risk.

It is always crowded. Especially for lunch time. The parking lot is not too big so if you drive a car it's probably hard to find empty slot. It has live music from buskers as well. I could say the place itself is a bit cramped, so it's difficult to keep your distance.

They served coto with slightly different type of soup. It tasted good though. The place is crowded at certain hour but you might not have to wait for too long to get seated. Please be concern if you can't stand the heat, but they have fan inside placed in several spot.

One of Makassar culinary signature is Coto (kind of white broth soup), very rich taste of Indonesian spices. Served with rice cake. This place is well known as one of the best Coto in town. In my opinion it is less oily and fresh meat. What so disturbing is people dumping garbe all over the floor.

i’m a new comer. i don’t really get the hype but i understand why this place is famous. i’m not a coto person but this is good. 8/10. this place is really crowded and i don’t get used to sit with people i don’t know???? that’s the awkward part. sit - eat fast - bills. don’t have time to breathe lol

This place is definitely recommended for breakfast or dinner. Coto is makassar traditional food that you should try. Its a meat soup with spices that taste really good. What makes it different here is because their soup is white where others seems completely brown, some said they use some milk in it. The place usually full of people in the morning, so make sure you came earlier in the morning.

Recommended and mostly crowded place to have  tasty Coto Makassar, a beef stew in white soup. It is served on a small bowl. Although the bowl is small, but do not worry because there is a lot of beef on it.

We could request for some part of the beef that we like. I chose mix beef. There are beef meat, liver, lung, tongue, cow intestine, tripe, served separately with the spring onions and fried onions. The meat is tender and great. Do not forget to serve it with Buras (Makassar thick rice cake wrapped in banana leaf) and also lime and chilli sauce if you love spicy. Buras may change the role of rice as the carbohydrate.
