Service is fast, the place is clean, it’s practically on the water front, which contributes to a nice breeze.

This place is well know with locals for their bakso. So I ordered bakso.... best bakso I have ever had. Bali bakso has nothing on this. No Formaldehyde for starters.

I got Green Banana Ice for dessert. You have to order this. It’s only available in Makassar and tastes fantastic.

Taste good and one of food that you should try in Makassar here is Nyuknyang or Meatball

The meatball is delicious...famous in Makassar. You just cross the street to go to Losari Beach. Search for nyuk nyak. It means bakso (meatball). The locals eat it with buras (sort of ketupat). The price for 1 bowl of bakso (8 or 10 meatballs...i forgot) is IDR 28,000. If you want to bring it home...they have the frozen pack...IDR 145,000 per 50 meatballs. They can also deliver with its being packed, ready for you to bring it home to your city.
