It is the world's largest Buddhist temple. The temple consists of nine stacked platforms, six square and three circular, topped by a central dome. It is decorated with 2,672 relief panels and 504 Budha Statues. The central dome is surrounded by 72 Buddha statues, each seated inside a perforated stupa.

They separate the parking lot into several area (A,B,C,D,so on). The closest one from the entrance is parking lot A, however you'll need to be lucky.

Once you get off from the temple, the pathway will lead you into parking lot B (after so many stall trying to get a bit of your money, selling clothes, food and other merchandise). From there, you'll need to walk a bit far to reach parking lot A.

The area is wide enough for cars but it needs mooorreeee trees.. please plant more trees since it's so hot there. And the merchandise sellers are sooooo annoying.. they will force you to buy their stuff, so beware! Btw the parking fee is flat for a day.

Capacity of this parking area is about 10-12 big busses. There are many food u0026 beverage seller around this area. Try our local famous fruit : Salak Pondoh or Pondoh's Snake-skin fruit. It tastes sweet, crunchy and unique.
