This is not one of the 3 main temples, and we could walk in and explore freely. I though much more interesting and beautiful than the famous Borobodur structure. Some amazing moss-covered statues in the gardens and a beautiful prayer hall. Its definitely worth a visit.

Calm and beautiful temple area. Free entrance to the area and some buildings are also accessible for meditation. We had a charming talk with one of the monks.

Entrance is free. Lovely place to walk around after a visit to the temple. We discovered this Sala Tree with its beautiful flower. We later found out that it is native to India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Tibet and Himalayas.

Currently not accepting public visitors. Private visitors intending to pray might need to book or contact the staff ahead. It used to open to the public, which then allows visitors to either pray or simply take photos. The atmosphere is superbly serene.

This Buddhist Monastery is located next to Mendut Temple. Peaceful place with beautiful garden.

Great site, overshadowed by Borobudur but the environment is very clean and neat. Too bad the ticket price is quite expensive. Kupat Tahu under the tree in front of the candi is excellent!

Monastery is really nice. Should be visited aling with Temple
