Jolan Jalan homestay Borobudur

We had a wonderful 2 days stay at Jolan Jalan homestay, even if we arrived without a reservation in the evening. We had a great welcoming by the family. We really appreciated their little attention and also, the good advices from the owner about Indonesia - volcanos. It's the perfect place to relax and admire the view from the second floor. Plus, the breakfast and coffe were excellent!!! :)

We wanted to visit the temple Borobudur and stayed one night at Jolan Jalan Homestay. The place was really lovely and the people really helpfull and friendly. They helped us with the trip to the temple and also provided tickets for it. They can also help with organizing many different activities. If you want something to eat they love to make you something great for little price. I am recommending this place!

We had a wonderful experience at Jolan Japan Homestay. My friend and I stayed here overnight with intention to catch the Borobudur temple at sunrise. They were very helpful and personable and helped us with our trip the next morning. The place is very clean and the hosts ate very kind. I would definitely reccomend staying here if you plan on seeing Borobudur.

I had a great experience coming to this homestay on my trip through Java. Booked this homestay to see Borobudur sunrise and at the same time escape the busy cities of Java. Best choise ever!

The place is in the middle of jungle villages, very close to Borobudur and also Chicken Church

I arrived and got offered an ice tea, which was more than welcome after a day of travelling in the heat. They also offered me amazing dinner. These people know how to treat their guests.

I stayed at the treehouse-like place. Hearing the sounds of the jungle while falling asleep was the best ever.

At 4am they woke me up to take me to the Borobudur sunrise experience. When I came back I had a pancake breakfast at the terrace overlooking the fields in the back.

After breakfast I took a bicycle and explored the villages around the homestay. I biked to chicken chirch which is only 10 minutes away. Great authentic experience.

I came back to the homestay to pack my bags and then rode on the back of a scooter to Ketep pass to see Merapi Mountain. It was amazing just sitting back and relaxing on the scooter, watching the Indonesian landscapes zip by.

Before I left they also gave me tons of tips for the rest of my journey.

Truly I don't think there would've been a better choice than staying at this place to truly experience Borobudur and the surrounding areas. Higly recommended!!!

Amazing homestay ! The place is very clean, there is a great view from the balcony, Jolan and his family are all very kind and helpful, and they cook like chiefs ..! Great service and the price is more than fair, highly recommanded ! :)
