Nice place, need sone renovation here and there. Need to try walk on the garden, it very nice..
The paint collection is good enough, to would be better if had more collections and make a regular exhibition.

i thought the museum was opened already, because it was opened on google maps. so me and my friends went over there. surprisingly, turns out that the museum is still closed. disappointed and very surprised.

We're so lucky to meet the son of H.Widayat, mr Anwar whom of course has a deep knowledge of all exhibits and sometimes shared the background story of a particular piece. The journey of different era of his late father's master piece really fascinating. It has a certain aura of magic in each piece. Especially when the maestro was still in the "detail" mode. I would recommend to enjoy all the pieces without time constraint. As mr Anwar said to enjoy and do the dialog with the exhibit in front of you.. The museum complex also provides several rooms for accommodation. It has a hall full of javaness decoration for weddings or any gathering.

Haji widayat museum have a strategic location. so, u can visit this museum after visiting borobudur temple. there are a lot of art, both painting and statue. Haji Widayat also have a large place and little bit quite.

If you hungry, you should try the food stall in the museum are, it's so good, my recommendation is tongseng kambing, the meat is so tender and the soup is so flavorful

It's a good place to enjoy the arts and thinking. they rent rooms for tourist and a venue for weddings.
