Great place.. Nice view, you can see Borobudur temple from the distance.. Delicious traditional cuisine especially LODEH.. You can hangout for a long time and enjoy the nature.. you can event stay for a night or two at the home stay manage by Balkondes..

It is hard to describe this place since this place has a various purpose, an open concept restaurant with traditional javanese house, Yes, a transit location if you want to spend your free time while having a jeep or ATV adventure for 2 hours straight, Yes, and even if you want to find quick solution to buy souvenir relate to Magelang etc for your family or friend, Yes????????during my visit I was served with nasi megono (white rice cooked with jackfruit and some herbs), which is not the local cuisine from Magelang or Jogja (it is originated from pekalongan or at the northern part of Java), accompanied with deep fried tempe and tahu (highly recommend the fried tempeh) and mangut beong (cork fish???) ..and you definitely has to try this dish!!!!beong or cork fish is cooked with coconut milk with lots and lots of herbs and spices, especially chilli, resulting in a truly divine experience excitement in eating hehehe, warm rice, silky fish meat combine with well acceptable spiciness u003d eating more and more....????????, the only downside of this place is that the open place does not limit the access to the local souvenir seller to freely enter the place, rather disturbing yet understandable due to it is a common practice, just say no firmly and politely, and they will no longer disturb you.

You can visit here until midnight. Large parking area. Clean toilet but not for vandalising inside. Open/outdoor resto so you can enjoy the wind, sunlight and natural vibes.

Nice place to hangaround with friends and family. Ethnic environment with traditional meal and drink. Parking space is not an issue. Price is ok. The service is nice. You can come here not only in the weekend.

Lovely isolated along a river, this tiny hotel (only 5 or 6 rooms?) has premium services. Friendly, polite, smiley staff. Efficient and well-priced airport pickup.
The room itself is spacious, very clean, no fan but aircon, and no TV (great point here, since you could enjoy the garden or jungle views, or listen to the river flow or the nearby mosque). The bathroom is large, modern, with an Italian shower and a Japanese toilet.
If you visit Borobudur early in the morning, there is no take-away breakfast forecasted... but on the way, several places to get your shot are possible. In addition, you could go to the temple by using complimentary bikes of the hotel... well done. It is only few kms away and it is definitively a nice thing to do (we would have loved to get a local map with several nearby routes in the rice fields around the hotel in order to avoid to get lost).
The location is only minutes away from crowded Borobodur and considering as well the price of the night here very reasonable. They also have a restaurant with great food. For me it's worth a try!

The large number of balkondes around Borobudur does not make this place boring, each location has its own characteristics, one of the balkondes tuk songo is a fun place to have a vacation or hold an activity.
