this place sells a lot of local snack and i highly recommend you to buy their yellow tofu. if you like firm tofu, not a kind of silky or soft tofu, i'm sure you'll like it.

they have yellow and white tofu. in my personal opinion, their yellow tofu is firmer than the white. i bought a pack of each and the white tofu has a lil acidic smell n taste n it also tasteless. the yellow got the color from turmeric n it's so good. it doesn't affect the taste of tofu, but as long as i know, turmeric is a good antibacterial stuff.

when you come to the cashier, make sure you already order the tofu or else you'll be "kicked" from the line. i saw a woman being told about it by the cashier, she's in front of me, but she has to redo the line because she hasn't order the tofu on the tofu bench and she order it to the cashier.

i hope they give more information about the order flow. i feel sorry to that woman actually.

Try visit this place, POO (Pusat Oleh Oleh) is one of best souvenir store in Kediri with Tahu Pong and Tahu Kuning (yellow tofu) as main food souvenir in Kediri. My family usually visited this while back home through Jl. Yos Sudarso Kediri.

One of my most favorite snack in this place is Stik Tahu (tofu stick) which is one of my favorite snack while visiting Kediri since 2007, and also, you can get fresh fried pong tofu (Tahu Pong) here which is great while continue to travel after visiting this souvenir shop.

And also, there's another snack souvenir which you can buy (for yourself or gift for your friend) in case you're interested.

A place to find kediri’s local tofu and snack, prices are reasonable, located in the central of local’s souvenir, may hard to find space to park at the weekend, non-cash payment can be done via debit card that only accepted for purchasing above 100.000 IDR.

If you looking for the takwa tofu, better be early morning until evening. Tends to run out at night. Have many choices of snacks

Got authentic Kediri's snack here. And nice yellow tofu. They are not only sell tofu. But also some traditional snacks with modern flavour
