What a nice cozy place! I really felt at home, staff speakes english very well and will do anything possible to help you. While staying there I fell seriously sick - they realpy looked after me and took me to the hospital to be tested and cured.

I m on the better side now - I really raccomand this place to any one looking for a different experience - rooms have windows and no smell of damp / humidity as in lots of other accommodations in town

Pretty quiet location. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Spotlessly clean. Decor was very cool: lots of Papuan artwork and handmade items. The owners make you feel right at home and are the most loving, kind, and respectful people! I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this homestay for anyone looking for an authentic and comfortable experience.

A well organized, very clean, very comfortable home stay with a warm home feeling. Heidi runns it as a social business where papuan girls can learn how to manage a home stay on their own. Just one of many social projects Heidi and her husband Reiner are doing in Papua. Lina was the managing angle at the time of our stay, helping us out in difficult times and giving us smart advise when ever needed. She also backed delicious fresh bread. For shure the best and most affordable accommodation in Jayapura. Missing the great conversations and laughter we had with you guys. A place of heart and joy. Thanks for everything and hope to see you all again.

Galpera Papua Homestay felt like home away from home. Very helpful (and the sweetest) staff, Comfortable and clean and amazing breakfast with homemade blackrice bread. We stayed here 3 times... ❤???? Terima Kasih

It is a very nice homestay with a very lovely staff which will try to help you in any way possible. The rooms are simple but very clean and the shared bathroom is nice and clean. There is a kitchen where you can cook your food and they can get you a taxi to downtown Jaipura or the airport.

Nice homestay owned by a German couple and run by very friendly Papuan girls. Clean and comfortable rooms. Indonesian style bathroom but with European/American toilet.

Just stayed there 6 nights end of April 2017 and this homestay is great. Feels really homy, great neighborhood and the caretaker Yuli is amazing. She helped us figure out our visa extension as well as places to visit around and even got us started on preparing our trip to Wamena. If she doesn't know herself, she knows someone who does!
