Just 5 mins away from our villa, this warung is an elevated experience to eat local food with the view of rice fields. Carik, i learned means the rice paddies. Two kind and hospitable ladies always welcoming with smile. The food is delicious and presentable. I love all sorts of udang and the black rice pudding was warm and tasty. Went here twice for dinner that much good their food, service and romantic ambience. Highly recommended! Pls support the local warungs in the village :)

We had the green chicken curry, mie Goreng with prawns and gado gado as a meal and the black rice pudding and the fried banana as dessert. Everything tasted amazing, the people from the restaurant were super friendly and had great prices :)

Don't go anywhere else! The food here is outstanding. On our first visit we had the Crispy duck and rendang. Both were amazing quality and the flavour was superb.
Second visit we tried the grilled tuna. It was cooked to perfection and the sauce with it took it to the next level.
You can spend a lot of money at fancier restaurants but don't bother when this place offers such beautifully prepared food. We'll be back for dinner again.

Lovely Open Air Place with view on palm trees and rice paddies, serving Indonesian food just like it’s supposed to be. Staff very friendly and caring. Certainly recommend this for everybody who looks for a uncomplicated and comfortable, traditional Meal.

Amazing quality food that we came back 3 times for. Rendang, crispy duck and tuna steaks are all 1st class and best we have had in Bali. Better quality food than restaurants charging so much more.

Wonderful local food prepared with by amazingly friendly staff. This restaurant was very warm and inviting and maintained that authentic Balinese vibe. The menu covered just one page which is a good sign that they stick to what they do best!

We of course had the nasi goreng dishes which were excellent. We also added the crispy duck dish which was amazing: hot and crispy on the outside and tender and flavourful on the inside. This place deserves every 5 star it gets.

We love the place!! Went there three times in two days (lunch, dinner, and dinner the next day). This is a great restaurant with amazing food and nice views. It’s traditional and not as touristy as many other places in Ubud city. We had the spring roles, chicken soup, duck, green curry, fried noodles, rice pudding and fried bananas. Everything was prepared fresh and ingredients are picked up from local market everyday by the owner. The owner and his wife always try to learn more about the people dining in their restaurant and are very open and welcoming. They gave us great tips about where to go in the area and even drove us home on our last night after we ate there multiple times. We really enjoyed every minute there and will come back again when in Bali. Thanks!!
