Not worth it.

Quite dark, because of the layout. Kitchen is quite dirty, fridge is mouldy and messy. Ants are everywhere on the second floor (beside the kitchen). Room itself is basic.

It is also quite tucked into village roads, so it adds a bit of time to your commute.

Wifi is also super slow - can go down to 1.5Mbps!!

Looking back, this place wasn't worth it. You're so far away from ubud that any savings you have is offset by the price gouging that the local taxi drivers take from you. Food is great! Stray dogs chased me around the neighborhood, super stressful.

Wayan will drive you to town, so there is no price gouging by taxi. He makes you fantastic food he was a chef on cruise ships, and the food cost half as much as in Ubud center, thus you save money. Dogs sense fear energy and are only territorial if they have pups. As you can tell I found the review about the guy being chased around rather absurd. The dogs are probably the best entities on this island, and this place is the best spot around Ubud, which is trashed and insanely expensive. Take a walk 1.2 miles down the same street to the big waterfall.

The best hotel in Bali. The owners are very nice people who help you with everything. The place is very clear, the food is very tasty. It's near to so many interesting places. ????

The owner is kind, the room is more than comfort, the price is good. This place is recommended, for sure!
