I absolutely enjoyed the massage and would recommend it to anyone looking for massages. But I can't shake the feeling that this isn't a place you go to impress someone. If you're looking for ambiance to go with your massage, this place is a hit or miss. You'll have to check my pics to see the decor, with background music of Hindu-Buddhist theme. Therefore I'm giving it four stars with a heavy heart. Doesn't change the fact that I loved the massage though!

I absolutely loved this place, and had such an incredible experience! The fact that you're not in an enclosed room wasn't too discomforting to me, the masseuses being very careful and attentive. I had always been to kinda fancy plain and "elegant" spas before I'm Bali, but at Shambala all the bright yellow-orange colours bring you straight to India, the music, the smell everything makes you travel. Vivi did my massage and she was absolutely lovely and I loved every single second of the whole experience. Thank you so much!

We had the 4.5 hours spa treatment and it was amazing. They are all experts at what they are doing. It is obvious that they are professionals, know both the theory and the practice.
Make sure you book if you want to go in the afternoon. It gets fully booked. If you haven’t booked, try 11:00 as soon as they open.

Magical!
Away from the hustle and bustle of Jl. Monkey Forest, tucked away down a laneway. Fantastic, quiet, relaxing Balinese massage lost count of how many visits during my 10 night stay.. and also over the years.
The beautiful, polite staff are all knowledgeable and experienced.
Tini and Tika were always very attentive to making sure the pressure was just right. Always a must when I visit to Ubud. Best to book in advance.

Fantastic experience..... Wish I discovered this earlier to indulge daily during my trip to Ubud, Bali. It's not the fancy kinda place but the privacy and services are very reasonable. Informed the therapist that I had lower back surgery and to avoid the area. She did justice to the remaining part and I left the place feeling fantabulous

best massage i have gotten. in bali i got massages nearly every day but this place was by far the best. the massagers were very skilled and caring and the atmosphere was VERY relaxing. felt safe and relaxed. my mum and i have Tari and Putu and they were the best????????????????

also had amazing prices!! i don’t have enough words to describe how good this place was????????
