Rama House Ubud

I spent almost 3 weeks at Rama House and could not recommend it more highly. The owner, Gusty, and the staff are very nice and go out of the way to make your stay nice. The room was lovely with AC and a private balcony. Breakfast included each day and is very good.

Positive: Location, location u0026 location. Only 2 minutes walk to the Ubud Market. Great place to buy fragrant flowers to perfume your stay in Ubud. The room was big and it even had a bath tub. Mr. Gusti and his family were a kind bunch of people. They even invited me to their daughter's wedding which was held at the guest house. Wonderful experience.. Negative: The stairs. My room was on the 3rd floor. If your are fine with climbing a few flight of stairs, then this place is a great location to stay at..

Positive: Staff were friendly and helpful. They arranged for a driver for us for the day at a reasonable rate. Room was clean and the shower was hot, although a little difficult to adjust to the correct temperature. The location was right in the heart of Ubud but nonetheless quiet.. Negative: nothing, good value for the money..

Our stay at Rama House Ubud was truly amazing. The owner, Gusty, and his staff are extremely kind, humble and they love what they do. I truly recommend staying here as you will experience the true feeling of Bali without having to worry about your safety and wellbeing, nor unpleasant living conditions. The breakfast and the coffee which is included is also really amazing and unique. I definitely rate this accommodation 10/10!

Our stay here was really wonderful! It’s a great location, free breakfast in bed, laundry available, and super cheap for what you get! I️ thought the place was really nice and the rooms were awesome. Some rooms are better than others, but for the same price. The only bad things I have to say are the breakfast is average and there is some mold by the reception area and in our bathroom, but we would 100% stay here again! It’s been wonderful!

Positive: The location was great and the bed was super comfortable. The balcony was Ideal for sitting out and seeing the Indonesian cultures happening in people's homes. The breakfast was good too. Delicious banana pancakes. Negative: The shared kitchen was dirty and not cleaned adequately. The trash can was always full and dishes had stains on them. There was Bali coffee and Nescafé coffee, but the Nescafé was all hard and stuck to the bottom of the jar. The door handles need to be renewed or oiled as they creak when you open the door. I had hoped I would get the room with the tub, but I guess it's for stay with family only.

I spent a month there and I loved it. The staff is lovely, the place is clean and neat, and the guest house is at the most perfect location in Ubud. You can walk anywhere from there very easily! The partner guest house next door, Purnama House, has a convenient and cheap laundry service. I will definitely go back there for my future stays in Ubud!
