Clean restaurant with nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The food, however, is really below average. Size of the dishes is rediculously small (vegetables that come with the beefsteak consist of one (!) bean and three tiny slices of a carrot. The steak was okay but really tiny, too. One of my friends had a fried duck that had obviously died of hunger and it was almost impossible to eat it as the meat was like a chewing gum. Every restaurant we've been to was more recommendable than this one. Three stars just to honor the nice place and the attentive staff.

Order was messed up completely. Every food they served was extremely overcooked. In the end they accidently over charged us. There is a lot to improve.

Ridiculously pricey, but it's hard to realize it before you get a bill, as they charge additional 21% to already expensive meals. Waitress started acting rude when I said I don't want 2x more expensive dish she recommended instead of the one I chose. But what pushed me to write this review is the moment when she almost threw my laptop on the floor, because she wanted to take the menu from the table. We came here because we liked the interior design, and this is the only good point.

This place has a great chef who loves whipping stuff up for you. Lovely pool and good prices for the rooms. The rooms vary a bit in quality, but they were all being revamped bit by bit. Check out the room before you decide, but we liked it enough to stay here three times as we dropped in and out of Ubud. They dropped the price for us each time, so do negotiate.
