The place is so magnificent! I can't really describe it with words. You have to experience it by yourself. Pictures won't do justice of the place.

Since the temple is not really famous unlike Tirta Empul, its atmosphere is very sacred I was almost afraid to make a mistake.

We did "melukat" here and it was a marvelous experience.

The view is breathtaking. A must visit place in Bali ????????

On our way back from Tirtha Empul- just 5 mins away was this beautiful temple too
It was peaceful and so beautiful with so many springs/fountains
We had a good time here

One of my favourite places on Bali. There is an ancient Javanese temple in the pura, really amazing. The purification springs are great.

It’s a special place.

Come here in silence, in sarong and with covered shoulders, with offering.
While going down the stairs, observe the green lush beauty of this sacred place. Listen to the sounds of running waters and Balinese families around. Smell the flowers and incense. Pray. Deep your body in the holy waters. Let go of what scares you and doesn’t serve anymore. Let the flow purify you from evil and weak thinking. Don’t rush. Surrender.
And with the new state, come back up with the smile. Accept the generosity of the local sellers, offering you all the goods they have. Be kind to them. Save memories of this special visit of yours and bring this mood to the world.

Pura Mengening literally translates as Purification Temple. A melukat (cleansing/purification) ritual in the holy springs leaves you feeling light and whole. A beautiful natural setting and sacred space.
