Cute little family-run place with good food and beautiful views of the rice fields. Very unassuming, and easy to sort of miss, but if you do pass by here, I highly recommend stopping for a meal. We ordered the local Indonesian fare, which was delicious. There are a couple of small huts that you can sit at with a view of the fields.

If I can give 10 stars, I would! This place is perfect! Hidden gem and you can go here if using motorbike or walking. There are 3 gazebos on the outdoor area, and 4 indoor tables. Lot of greeneries, their left and right neighbors are rice paddies, how lovely is that? When some places might only do well in the design (interior or exterior), Paddy Point is an exception because their food also delicious!

We had fresh coconut, smoothie bowl, and pizza. Those three menu were all delicious! I cannot recommend this place enough. There was also a dog who came by, he’s so cute, friendly and wait patiently, well behaved.

Things to improve? Almost nothing. The toilet also clean and smells nice. You should pay a visit before sunset. 4:30 PM is the right time. Enjoy the beautiful sceneries here.

I and my wife spent 6 days in Ubud. While on our first day we were walking in the city center and had lunch there, the next day we took a trip and returned at about 18:00 at the hotel, located 5 minutes away from Paddy Point. We were looking for a close-by restaurant to have dinner and we found Paddy to be nearby and had very good reviews. The next days we returned for lunch, dinner or even both of them. Their menu does not contain many dishes, but the ones we ordered every single time were cooked great. The prices you find here are pretty much at least 30% better than the ones in the city center.
I would recommend the pumpkin soup and the Goreng dishes, as well as the chicken satay.
Also, the restaurant is located near the rice fields where is quiet and you can enjoy your meal and relax.
Do not miss this place if you are looking to escape the hustle from the city and have a great dinner or lunch.
PS: don't miss the fried banana with ice cream dessert.

We love the ambiance and we’re so lucky it’s minutes away from us, would be our second kitchen. Delicious food and lovely staff

I’m a big fan of Neko KWETIAU ????

Beautiful cafe in Penestanan area right next to the rice paddies. The views are beautiful and it’s very peaceful - very few scooters around. There is also a lovely cool breeze in the outdoor seating. The food is lovingly prepared - must’ve been the best coconut I’ve had so far. A lot of love and effort goes into this place and you can feel it. Once you’ve had your food I can recommend going on a walk in the rice paddies behind the restaurant.

Two of us went there and had the fried duck, the beef rendang, the chicken sate, and the banana fritters. We also had two arak cocktails.

We would highly highly recommend all of the above dishes (with the exception of chicken sate, which was still pretty decent, just that we personally do not like breast meat that much). Well seasoned and flavourful. Portions are decently sized - but if you are a heavy eater just order another round. The dishes are extremely inexpensive.

The banana fritters come warm on the inside and the ice cold ice cream is a perfect accompaniment to it. The combination is simply divine. A suggestion to the owner of the restaurant - would be good if we could have an option to pay more to add an additional scoop of ice cream!

You can save your time by not reading the rest of this review and just GO VISIT THIS PLACE and enjoy the experience.

It's situated in a perfect location within the local village of Penestanan where rice paddies upon rice paddies will meet your eye.

You can have a private setting in a seated bench area and listen to the sounds of the animals in the surrounding rice fields.

The food comes out quickly and hot. The Balinese chicken curry is fantastic, as are the Vegetable Mie Goreng and Barbeque Pork Ribs.

Neko (24-year old chef) is an extremely warm and nice person who just launched his restaurant in March 2017. You can tell how passionate and humble he is.

The menu is extremely accommodating to an individual's dietary preferences (i.e. gluten-free, vegan, etc.) and he will even deliver to your accommodation if you're staying nearby. But the experience is hands-down better to dine in at the restaurant.

Next time I'm back in Ubud, I'm 100% going here.

And for those people wondering, the place has WiFi, but the experience is better just living, eating, and drinking in the moment.
