We went cooking during our visit in Ubud and really recommend the experience. We went during the morning, picked up around 8:00.
It already started great with visiting a local market. It was really nice to see where all the ingredients came from. And it also offered you the opportunity to bring something for use at home.
The cooking area was great, very nice garden and open kitchen. And everything was very well maintained and clean. The cooking it self was great! We learned a lot and the food was very nice. At the end we received a booklet with all the instructions and ingredients you need for the dishes.
The family was very open and offered us some great insights in the Bali culture. And Sang Made was a great host during the entire experience.
We highly recommend this as a couple or as a group when you’re staying in the Bali environment.
