FAR from the best Japanese restaurant in Bali, and in no way near deserving of the hype. The appetizers were all mediocre, AT BEST. Thank god a few of the main dishes saved this restaurant. Most important to note: DO NOT MISS THE BLACK COD!! That was a truly spectacular dish, and saved the evening. The wagyu tenderloin was also quite nice. And the service was very inattentive. We drove 30 minutes to eat here, and left disappointed.

We visited earlier this year and didn't have omakase but we saw it and decided to give it a go.
It was by far the most memorable dining experience we have ever had, with an amazing selection of dishes and even a surprise! The chef was incredibly professional and friendly and the staff were really attentive and made our experience even better.
Thank you so much for an amazing anniversary dinner and we will be coming back ????????

Best restaurant in ubud so far!!
Great ambiance and wonderful experience.
Food is fresh and super tasty, from starter to dessert.
Our dinner started with a gorgeous amuse bouche followed by a delicious sashimi plate served with intense wasabi and sushi ginger.
After that we we had some salmon fried rice, salmon teriyaki, chicken teriyaki, spicy chicken teriyaki and wagyu rib eye teriyaki.
Each of those dishes is better then the one that preceded!
We tried both desserts on their menu, the chocolate parfait and the Japanese lemon custard. They’re both decadent, however I would strongly advise on ordering the latter one.

The chef on the grill was as good as entertaining and the staff were very sweet and attentive!

I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

Incredibly authentic Japanese food, and really well priced
absolutely delicious u0026 fresh food. Great place to visit u0026 fabulous cocktails too. . 5/5 would definitely recommend.

I had a wonderful time with my husband here! The place is terrific, the room was amazing, the people there was really friendly and helpful and to top it off it has an amazing view! Especially in the morning durning breakfast when the sun starts to appear from the other side of the trees! Simply beautiful.

Not to mention Kojin restaurant. Me and my Husband ordered some (steak apa gtu) and it was mouth watering, the chef and also the servers were really attentive to us!

Best Japanese Restaurant in Bali!
Wow! We read the reviews of this place and had very high expectations and they were exceeded. We ordered the Wagyu Beef and the chicken teriyaki. Everything was amazing.

Priyani and Tia were great with the service. Impecable dinner. A must if you are in Ubud.

Great experience. After hiking in the rice fields we cruised via scooters to this nice resort. The views are stunning and it’s so quiet and serene. The staff are all very nice and helpful. We ate at Kojin—the food was excellent (although a bit pricey for Bali). Overall a 5 star experience for our little stop.
