Nice setting, lovely view of the rice fields, good food, only found this place by accident, as we where diverted due to a ceremony. Also they have lovely accommodation, which we had a look at, would love to have stayed, very clean and modern design , contemporary room's with swimming pool average prices for food and accommodation.

I stayed at the Green Sala homestay for about 10 days. Absolutely loved it here! Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, this peaceful u0026 quiet retreat is just minutes away from downtown. (By motorbike) With only a handful of rooms and a pool this place stays quiet and cozy. The staff was very kind and the owners went above and beyond to be accommodating. This place was just built so everything is brand new and beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfortable and our view of the rice fields really made this our favorite place to stay in Ubud. I highly recommend Green Sala house to anyone traveling to Ubud!

Walked over from our Villa and had a delicious dinner, dessert, and drinks for an incredibly reasonable price. Views were amazing and peaceful, and the staff were very friendly.

From The Netherlands...

We stayed here for our last 5 days of our holiday in Ubud and we are so glad we did choose Green Sala!! We had a very relaxed stay because:

- The owner and staff are sooo friendly and helpfull, best staff I ever experienced in a hotel! They speak English.
- The rooms are very clean and new, just one year old (I like clean rooms). Bed, shower, toilet, sink, floor is clean.
- Provided a lot of different size clean towels in the bathroom.
- Big rooms, enough space for your luggage and stuff.
- Good food in the restaurant with good prices (Balinese pork is great and the milkshakes are great!)
- Beautiful location at opposite of rice fields, so quiet here! Better than in the center of Ubud. Rooms at first floor have beautiful view at rice fields.
- Always good free wifi connection.
- Easy to order taxi with GoJek or Grab app (we payed around 50k oneway to center Ubud) just takes around 10min to center.
- Nearby activities: cooking classes, Ubud shopping center, Tegalalang rice terrace, Tegenungan waterfall, Monkey forest, etc....
- Free breakfast, roomservice or at restaurant (the green pancakes are delicious!)
- Staff is present 24/7, this is a comfortable feeling.
- Swimming pool looks nice.
- Staff is very willing to give recommendations or help you (hotel owner booked a cooking class for us). They can also arrange taxi if you don't want to use the apps.

We didn't care so much but be prepared:
- A lot of geckos outside and sometimes in the room, but they did't come down and they are everywhere in Bali, so you will have them in every hotel! We didn't care about them.
- A lot of tiny ants. They provided us with some ant spray and that worked, so for us it was okay. These are also everywhere in Indonesia...
- The location of the hotel is a little bit off road with high hills, so be sure that your taxi (if not with app) knows where it is.
- We didn't use scooter because it would be too dangerous.. but taxi was very smooth.

We recommend this hotel very very much and we would definately come back here! Thank you so much for your kind hospitality, we had a great stay!!

It was the WORST meal in my life. I ordered beef burger and they gave me something with sausage instead of meat and tried to convince me that it is a beef. It was awful. But they didn't feel sorry about it. Also a lot of flies trying to sit on your food. Don't recommend this place even if you live in the hotel.

What a joke.
Ordered a gado gado, when it came it was literally less than half the size of any other gado gado I've ever seen elsewhere in Indonesia, and a quarter of most. Even the egg was tiny. Ridiculous. Taste also nothing special.

Nice place, stopped for a drink and takeaway food. Staff were friendly, food was good and the rooms and pool area looked very clean and inviting.
