I stayed here for 2 nights recently, unfortunately my experience was not good.
On arrival at 10.45pm there was no one in reception even though check in time is until 12am, I called the contact number and emailed several times but no response. As a solo female traveler and my first night in Ubud with the thoughts of sleeping rough for the night was not good.
I stayed in the reception area that night, that morning when asking the owner about the situation her reply was “sorry I was tired and went to bed” this is really not good enough!! To add she tried to put me into a mixed room when I had booked a female only room u0026 then tried to round up the total price, after pushing back and showing her my booking confirmation details I was shown to my room.

Pros:
Free wifi, free water (Luke warm), free coffee and tea, location

Overall I would not recommend to stay here from my experience.

Pretty good for a budget place, we paid 100k a night they have 3 rooms, one for 6 pax, 2 for 2pax, beds are OK, breakfast is amazing and it's free. Rooms are air-conditioned and the location is in the middle of ubud. Owners are very friendly and welcoming, we could leave our stuff here for several days when we went around Bali and most of the time we were alone in the hostel

The facilities were clean and cheap. The residents were quiet.

Removing a star because when we were enquiring for the total room price then the staff named Kadek said IDR70,000. When we started unpacking and went to pay, Kadek told us that the price was per person and was actually IDR140,000.

Removing another star because soap was available, and when i went to the front counter to ask about it at 22:00, no staff were available.

The place was okay, worth the beds and bath, the wifi did not Work, and it was raining in one Night. But hostel mamma, is one of the sweetest persons we have met! So Big plus for that.

I was there some months before. The Hostel is new and the people who work there is very friendly.
In the morning the monkeys come to the little garden so be careful with your stuff and your flip flops. ;)
