Really fun place to hang out, I have been multiple times and will go again for sure. There is a really calm relaxing vibe here.

Staff is super nice, the park is maintained really well, most of the birds are free to roam and seem happy, the food at the restaurant is actually really good and not overpriced for the amount/quality you get so just eat here, and they also have a cute gift shop.

They have onsite photographers who do a really good job and the price is a good deal - if you buy 1 physical photograph, you get all photos taken of you for free digitally. Take advantage and get as many photos as you can throughout the park then you can keep all of them digitally for no extra cost!

Also, there are several shows and feeding times so I suggest checking the schedule and attending the shows, they will also let you feed the birds.

When bird meets people. Like the idea!! The birds are tame, even the eagles!!. Wondering how the keeper teach the birds. Bring your kids around, they will love it. You can see many shows here, stated clearly in the brochure with the time and the place. For the tickets you have to pay 140k rupiah for adults and 70k rupiah for child under 12 years old, and free for your child under 2 years old

I underestimated this place. They proved to me that I was totally wrong. It not "just" birds in a cage, but it's way more than that. Yes of course you got that typical birds in an individual cage with all the labels info blah blah. But there were 2 additional huge buildings that served as a cage where we can actually enter and experienced how the birds lived freely, flying here, perching at the eye level near us and do their thing without any care of us. If you're lucky, you can see the majestic and rare albino peacock bearing his tail feathers, it was a sight to see!
My daughter was absolutely ecstatic for hours!
Moreover, their show, I think that was the best immersive bird show I've ever been. Not just watching the routines performed but the birds actually swoop or even flew towards the audience, if you're brave enough you could actually took part in it!

Worth every penny. Kids friendly and good for adults too. They have a different attraction every 30-60 minutes. Most attractions run for around 15 minutes. It's going to be busy if you try to attend each and every one. The place is real nice and well maintained.

Many times I go to Bali, this is first time of visiting Bali Bird Park, is very nice place, many different varieties of birds, all friendly n well trained animals. There are many shows in different hours, suggest to take the map and schedule in the registration area. Restaurant also good to dine in and chill and take break in between. Recommended to visit especially with family and kids.

Some of the park is impressive. The majority isn’t. The parrots have their wings clipped so they can’t fly away and are used as props for tourists to have their photograph taken with. The majority of the birds are alone and in small cages. One vulture looking bird appeared positively heart broken and down trodden. The bird flying display was impressive and they’re trained to receive food.

On this particular day there were approx. 30 Indonesian school boys around 15 years old banging cages, placing their faces within inches of the terrified birds and shouting at the top of their lungs to show off to their friends. I challenged them which made them stop but I have no doubt in my mind they will be terrorising the birds more. I informed the staff who couldn’t give less of a toss.

It’s 700,000 IDR entrance fee for 2 people which is more expensive than the UK so for Indonesia this is extortionate. We did the park in 45 minutes.

Would I recommend it? Personally I feel disappointed and ripped off. I didn’t like seeing the birds in some of those cages and the parrots used for photographs. The malevolent school children annoyed me as well. I honestly don’t know why everyone is rating it so highly on here.

The birds are very beautiful. The species are also very diverse. Something I can't forget when visiting here was the experience to interract with the bird's at feeding time. That was very fun and amusing. They have non bird collection too like komodo. I reccommend this place to be visited for family with kids. The kids will be very happy to see birds and interact with them. However, the food at the restaurant relatively expensive for domestic tourists.
