Stayed here for almost two months with my dog, excellent breakfast and a lovely family that runs this guesthouse. However, there are always a lot of insects and reptiles (some are very cute) in your room. All in all, I was really happy for having found this place and I can absolutely recommend it if you are looking for an affordable nice room with a kitchen included and aren’t too afraid of giant ants ;)

We stayed here for nearly a month and it was very lovely! The family renting is extremely friendly, and they serve delicious and plentiful breakfast every day included with the very cheap rent. Our place was the large room with an open kitchen on the left of the property. It isn't the most modern apartment, but very light and spacious. The vicinity to some bars didn't bother us, it wasn't loud also not during the evenings. All in all it feels like a great place to stay in Ubud, easily in walking distance of the center, and it's clear that your money actually benefits a local family, instead of getting swooped up by some foreign investors. Recommended!

Place could be very, very good because of size of the room and how it looks, architecture but these mole almost everywhere... bed smell-fungus. dirty kitchen. we didn't turn on fun because it looks like lung cancer. Sleeped in trousers etc. So bad, they just should hire good cleaning person and make some renovation :/

Do not stay there unless you love mold, dirty smells and giant ants! The bathroom and the bedroom both have a very strong moldy smell, which is definitly not healthy. Moldstains are everywhere!
Giant ants are living permantly in the bathroom en walking underneath the door towards the bedroom.
The place needs a lot of maintenance before they should allow guests to sleep there again.
The lady is very kind, but doesn’t speak english very well. It was difficult to explain why we weren’t happy.
