I used to think Holycow is just a standard steak house, but after I move to live abroad now I realized this restaurant is very unique. The steak marinade they got is so Indonesian, and you won't find this kind of steak in any other part of the world. However its quite a shame that their service is getting worst and worst, we ordered 10 steaks, and we found a lot of inconsistency. well done steak much more raw compared to the medium well. Medium well steak is 100% cooked at some point it become to hard to chew. And its also so sad that they no longer have the spinach sides.

Best deal for the money spent for some beef steak. I just ordered prime sirloin and for the medium well level, it's really really great in my personal opinion. The side dishes portion are very generous, clean restaurants and friendly staffs. Will probably return here if I have another craving for their beef steak.

My child favorite steak, not too far from our house. Her favorite is tenderloin steak with mashed potatoes and mushroom sauce. Mine would be medium grilled tenderloin with mashed potatoes and mushroom sauce. Hubby would be well done grilled sirloin with fries and blackpepper sauce. Affordable price worth to the taste. No dine in allowed at this time. Just eat in the car and take a way. Not to comfy to eat in the car although they would lend you portable personal tray and offering cut grilled meat to make u eat easier in the car.

Good ambiance, well-decorated, and you could even see sunset very well from this building while you enjoying, eating your steak. My steak was perfectly cooked, but I didn't know why, the egg and the potatoes were served slightly cold.

Don't order the Wagyu!

We ordered 2 types of main course for dinner, one is the Chef Afit Signature (Med-well) and the other is Wagyu (Medium). I expect the wagyu to be as smooth as butter, I was wrong. They served me something that doesn't felt like a wagyu at all, more like and ordinary beef i would say :( and I don't want to refire it since it took 25mins to wait for it. Nonetheless the Signature was better, but it just doesn't make any sense that a steak worth 280k idr felt like a dry regular steak compared to Signature which really is an ordinary aus beef is better with lower cost.

The outlet at transmart is quite small and quiet. The waiter/waitress are very responsive.
The taste is okay.
If we compare between buddy, hukabee, wagyu and wagyu signature, we found that the the buddy is the best in tenderness and juiciness, then wagyu, and wagyu signature and the last is hukabee. It doesnt mean that the lower rank is bad, it's just a rank from me.
From me I like the signature because it's very tasty, but may be for somenone else the taste of meat is gone.

Small steak restaurant close to my house in Pondok Kelapa, but the taste is good, the quality of the service is also nice. The steak itself is very good for Indonesian taste, tender meat and lots of choices.., love it!!
