It is a place to calm down and relax after a busy day of exploring Bali. When entering Kampung Kecil you feel like going into a different world, as it is a hidden oasis.

The design of the villa is tradtional but very chic, but the highlight was definetly the open concept bathroom with a nice rainshower and the big bathtub. Also every villa has a veranda with comfortable seating possibilities and also lounge chairs and a really nice and big daybead by the pool where you could spend the whole day reading.

It is also very well equipped with everything you might need during your stay, even in the villa without a kitchen there is a spacious fridge and plates and cuttlery and also a coffee station. The bed also had a mosquito net.

Due to it`s perfect location in Sanur the way to the beach, shopping and some really good restaurants is very short.

The staff was also very open, friendly and welcoming.

This place is a hidden gem. We only stayed one night but wished we would have stayed here longer. The manager, Patricia, and her staff did a fabulous job helping us feel right at home. The villas have everything you need, and are tranquil, safe, and super comfortable (there were no bugs, but they gave us free bug spray anyway! Forks and knives! Plates and cooking utensils! Poolside beer!). Right when we walked in the door, Patricia sensed we were hungry and tired. She and her staff checked us in quickly, and helped us get great food delivered from a local restaurant. She also booked us in-room massages and could not have been more helpful. They also have these cute little books everywhere called My Life in Bali which they sell. The author is friends with the owner of Villa Kampung Kecil. This place was great and we highly recommend it!

After a busy day of sight-seeing and shopping in Bali coming back to the serene, lush surroundings of Kampung Kecil was a god-send. We had a wonderful 11 nights at this beautiful little Villa and fell in love with the staff and the area. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained with exotic flowers and a pool.

It is hard to fully the describe this gorgeous calm oasis in a quieter part of Sanur. The renovated original Javanese timber houses are exquisite, the staff are warm and attentive and the location means you can feel you are not part of the tourist mayhem of Bali. Highly recommended for those travellers who want a more discrete and quiet experience. You won't be disappointed. Thankyou Nellie and your wonderful team!

Beautifully built up with traditional antique pieces transported from all over Indonesia. The villa was kept incredibly clean. All the villas are different and unique from an old style indonesian wooden houses. The people that have created this sanctuary for travellers certainly have an eye for the classic holiday experience.

We had a wonderful 11 nights at this beautiful little Villa and fell in love with the staff and the area. You could cook in the kitchenbut who can be botheredsighand I appreciated the water coolerso much nicer than using bottles all the time. I would absolutely recommend this place if your planning a trip to Sanur.

A taste of traditional or continental breakfast is a welcome every morning. As an Indonesian it was heart warming to see a place where people care and obviously love Indonesian culture and have taken so much effort to represent it in this wonderful villa. We cannot praise the staff enough.
