It was such a nice surprise to visit this place. Moreover, there was not many people during the time of our visit which was really great considering the pandemic nowadays.
They have spacious parking if you drive bike, but limited parking space when you drive car. It only fit 2 city cars.
When we first walked in, the restaurant is spacious, well-lit, felt clean, and the air conditioner was comfortably cold. The wait-staff greeted us, but not immediately asking where we would like to sit. They'd rather be in their station and let us choose our desired table which was quite confusing for us since we didn't know which table was reserved and which was not. We ended up choosing our own table. We travelled with an infant but the wait-staff didn't automatically offer high chair. I had to asked for it. In fairness, the wait-staff quickly brought it to us. Unfortunately, it was not properly cleaned as it was so dusty. I understand that they are not a family-themed-restaurant, however please pay attention to the high chair's cleanliness especially when they only have one. The other furniture in their restaurant was squeaky clean but the high chair. It perhaps because it's rarely used, thus being oversight.
Their text only menu was printed on one side of a large paper (maybe A3 paper). They have many selections of kebabs as well as sauces to go with the kebabs. The wait-staff was quite informative about the menu when we asked. We ordered Large Asian Kebab served in flat bread, Large Mediterranean Kebab served in pita bread, Falafel, Iced Cappuccino, as well as Iced Tea. Their cold and refreshing drinking water is free-flowing and complimentary. We get to choose two kind of sauces to be served with our large kebabs and it can be mixed directly to the kebab or served on the side. We were also being given the freedom to choose what sauce that we would like to have with the falafel.
Another unexpected thing surprised us when the food arrived. Their flat bread is not what I thought it was. It was partly my fault for not listening carefully to the wait staff who did informed us that their flat bread have sesame seeds sprinkled on top -- it looked almost like a large burger bun. Fortunately, my husband liked it and ate it anyway.
The kebab portion was HUGE???? -- my misconceptions, again. I truly thought that I can handle that large kebab. It turns out that the filling was VERY GENEROUS. It was flavourful and delightful too. If you're a light eater, try their medium-sized kebab instead so that you can try their other dishes. I enjoyed the falafel with its hummus condiments.
The drinks are good, the Iced Tea was sweetened with honey, the Cappuccino was decent.
No additional tax and service charge added on our the final bill. Overall, a quite pleasant evening. We would be back to try more of their menu. Cheers!
