The Eco-Living Hostel

I'm finding it very hard to fit all the good things I want to say about this hostel into a couple of paragraphs. I'm a frequent traveller, so I have experienced my fair share of hostels, and I can honestly say that this one is one of the best ones I have stayed at so far.

The value you get for your money is fantastic. The astonishingly low prices might be misleading, but the hostel was crispy clean, had great amenities and comfortable beds. I saw cleaning personnel every day. They also offer towel and motorbike rent, cleaning services, all at very democratic prices, and they accept credit card.

What makes this hostel great, however, is the customer service you get. I was greeted with a bright smile every time I enterred the building. I stayed here for a week and got to know the name of everyone who was staying here, including the personnel. If you're a socializing traveller like me you will find it so easy to make friends here.

All in all I had a fantastic experience staying here. This place has a truly amazing, relaxing and unique atmosphere. I will be back! :-)

Very helpful staff, I left my big bag there and explored Bali by moped for days with a small bag, highly recommend doing the same
Free tea and coffee anytime.
Also water refills available, less plastic woo!
Good price for bike and moped rentals, also good quality mopeds.
Comfortable beds and good sized luggage storage.
PERFECT HOSTEL!

Phenomenal hostel. I arranged an airport pick-up and the owner messaged me the day before to confirm the details. Once I arrived at the hostel I was greeted by warm and friendly staff. There was a pervasive family-atmosphere about the place. The owner himself did much to contribute to this. He showed me around Denpasar and even offered to take a bunch of us to the back.
The hostel is clean and well looked after. The dorms are quiet at night and the beds are very comfy. 10/10 would stay again.

I should follow other guest to check-out earlier. Really frustrated to stay here, untrained staff to check-in process (it's so long), i was put on the 2nd floor with messy arrangement, i got no cabinet/safety box (they said i need to put IDR 50,000 and why they didnt inform upon check-in??) Where i want put the deposit, they said safety deposit box key was broken, then when i should put my bag?they said just put on the bed, come on man, really terrible!! Also wifi on the 2nd floor was so slow (unstssble) connection. Should another hotel has room available tonight, i would prefer pay more, unfortunatelly occupancy so high and no room in every location (only this hostel)
No information whether i got breakfast or not, amenities, etc. Good for the eco living stay, but for me this's the last im staying here. FYI that hotel will aks advance payment even thought we book through online booking (stated pay at property or upon arrival) so weird, we provided credit card number also cvv code for guarantee. We will not reccomend you stay here until they fix all standard operational procedure (prior guest arrival/upon or during check-in until check-out)

The location is a bit boring, but the whole area and the hostel were really quiet. The provided breakfast was a real plus.
The wi-fi was working really well and the hostel was up to my cleanliness standards

I “lost” my passport in Bali, called the hostel asking for it, said they didn’t have it, spent thousands of dollars trying to get home, and three months later they emailed me saying they had my passport in the desk. The lady working didn’t know what a passport was so she kept it. It was absurd.

My expensive camera was also left behind the desk while we packed the car and went “missing”.

I can see that my review and my friends reviews were deleted. I’d never recommend staying here for your own safety and safety of your possessions.

Wonderful place, good location, great staff, very cosy hostel! Perfect place to feel at home!

This was my first place in Bali and it was so perfect for getting started and feeling at home! Shinta, Aldi, Roberto and the owner Gurunwan are so nice, friendly, welcoming and helpful! They provided me with the right information and we had so nice times talking! The hostel is perfectly located, you can get a pick-up from the airport for a good price, the surroundings are very authentic and not a tourist area, and still it's easy to walk to the more touristic areas. You can rent a scooter as well for a day or more to explore Bali and store you luggage in the hostel. The hostel is very cosy with a nice interior and very clean. Even sleeping in a dormitory you have your privacy and quiet nights. Last but not least, I appreciate a lot the environmental engagement and contribution of the hostel and its staff! You can fill up your water bottle as well for a small price. Breakfast, coffee and tea is free. I just can recommend to choose this hostel as a start, base and/or end of your journey through Bali! In the end, it was hard to say goodbye to great friends, thanks very much to everybody! :-)
