We never get to take pictures of the food every single time we visited this place, because it was that GOOD and we always can't wait to dig in!
I'm not sure if they have other food menu than Soup Ikan (Fish Soup) and Ikan Goreng (Fried Fish). We always buy the package that consists of one soup ikan and one ikan goreng. Then, we order two portions of rice to go with it.
Their soup ikan is TO DIE FOR. Just ensure when ordering, asked them not to add fish head if you cannot eat one (like me). The fish is fresh and tender, it goes very well with the soup and a bowl of hot rice. However, I'm not fond of their ikan goreng since it is too overcooked for my preference. But the soup ikan is a true chef's kiss!
The drinks are decent, we tried many things in the past like the iced young coconut (es degan), iced tea, es teler, as well as their es daluman. They're all decent but the es teller was too sweet for me. I'll request less sugar next time.
This restaurant is huge. They have many tables to accommodate many people. The place is often crowded, can be quite hot during the day. My two cents if you do not like busy place: visit them during dinner time, after 8pm, not during the weekends ????
Large car parking space in the front and back. Standard one time only parking fees (Rp. 2000 per car).
We are always coming back and have been eating here since four years ago. Please do not lower your quality. Keep up the good work!
