This is one of city parks located at Central Jakarta, not too far from the city center. The location of this park is just across the road from the one of most well known hospital, RSCM. The park is located between Ciliwung River and Jalan Diponegoro, so it is not wide but enough, but it is also briliant to make sure no buildings gonna be built there. The place is quite spacious and has several seatings for the visitors to enjoy the fresh and green park.

This park is called Diponegoro Park because it is located on Jalan Diponegoro, Menteng, Central Jakarta. Formerly, this park was Jalan Diponegoro Market. This park was inaugurated by Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) on October 20, 2016, or before Ahok leave from the position of Governor of DKI Jakarta to take part in the DKI Jakarta Ele ction 2017. The construction of the park uses corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds from PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk. Prince Diponegoro-shaped ornaments with prancing horses are also displayed there. Park seating is also well arranged. The seat of the tire was made facing the Ciliwung River which is right behind the park. In front of this park you can face The Eijkman Institute for Molecular Biology which is settled in one complex on Cipto Mangunkusumo Central Hospital (RSCM). The existence of Diponegoro Park is better than Jalan Diponegoro Market..

A nice place for hanging around, especially at night time. Good for kids to exercise, but no nearby parking space.
