Real good authentic old vibe in Jakarta.
its says that this cafe has been operating since 1850s.

foods are good ????????
place is nice and unique ????????

thoughtful of them is they are using special fragrance around the room to give another level of unique experience. it justify the 5 stars rating from me.

Old style cafe with coffee as their specialty. Also serving Indonesian light bites.
Pretty comfortable to chill with friends, but maybe not for my taste.
It's not clear whether there is smoking area or not. The stairs are too cramped and doesn't have railing, a bit dangerous for kids and not comfortable for elderly.
This place also not providing prayer room. Not recommended for staying too long.
It's also a bit pricey.

Really one of the best place to hangout and meets with friends and colleagues enjoying cup of traditional or modern types of coffee in the heart of Jakarta / Menteng.

Like the ambience and great services by the staffs..
Interesting place, would love to visit again in future... Nice

One of the oldest coffee shops in Jakarta. Located in Cikini, central Jakarta, this place is accessible by public transport. The space for private vehicle is limited, and mostly park on the side of the road.

The place is consist of two story building, available for smoking and non smoking area with plenty of seat available. They also maintaining many of part of the building from the colonial era, so this place is looks so historical in this modern time.

The menu are varies with their specialties: Coffee from all around Indonesia. And if you not into coffee, they also offer non coffee drinks like tea. There are also some food on the menu and snack/dessert. Taste great and price understandable.

The hospitality is good, the waiter/waitress really guide us and explain to what we want to order or give us some recommendation of the menu.

During pandemic of Covid19, we must show our vaccination certificate for dine in there.

Nice atmosphere and quite busy. The wooden chairs are a little hard, but fit with the rest of the decor. The beef dish was sold out, so I went with the lamb dish. Meat was very tough. Almost couldn't chew it.

I'm sure this place is one of the eldest coffeeshop in Jakarta. It's a cozy place, has a good ambience, and has a lot of various choice of food and beverages.

I order:
- Kebuli fried rice (highly recommended if you like Fried rice and lamb meat)
- Corned beef toast (standard)
- Chicken wings barbeque (standard )
- Kopi kampong (recommended if you like coffe serve with Indonesian traditional style)
- Hot and Ice lemon tea (standard)

Unfortunately, it has limited parking area but you can park in Huis Menteng building. I saw many bicyclist came in, it has special parking space for bicycle.

If you were in Cikini, Gondangdia, and Menteng area, I highly recommended to come and visit.

An old coffeeshop in Cikini. The coffee was fine, the cheesecake was excellent. Their ambience was so vintage with a touch of small garden in the middle of the shop. Their service was good too.
