It’s a nice place to wander around and despite a lot of the stalls feeling a little generic with mass-produced good there are some treats to be found. With a river one one side and busy road on the other it’s an interesting setting and everyone is friendly making it feel like a safe environment. Best of all I didn’t feel any pressure to buy stuff I didn’t want and on a Saturday afternoon is was pleasantly quiet. If you’re in the area then it’s worth taking the time out to have a wander through.

I do love this place. You can be lucky and find some actual antiques there, or things that are made look old (they'll be dusty enough to make an impression of an old thing), as well as cheap souvenirs (do bargain though, they set a price at least twice higher than you can actually get it for).

Menteng is a great spot to visit. The products may not all be "antique", but it is a great place all around to visit. There can be a lot of good deals to be had. Haggle with the vendors. It isbalmost expected. There is a lotnto be seen in this area.

Interesting street selling antiques. Some treasures from old sailing boats, to Chinese pots and plates, to Indonesia crafts, to even vinyl records.

nice to look around but divide the asking price by 3 and buy it

Be careful before purchasing , thousands of pieces looks like antique but actually its not
