Staying with Tom was our first real contact with Java. We stayed there for two nights and Tom turned out to be very helping and helpful. He wanted to do his best for us to experience Indonesia and only get the best and most interesing parts from it. He knows a lot about the history and nature. He's very humble and goes out of his way to provide only the best. His house is a mix of tropical garden and basic acommodation. Cleanliness is not the strenght of the place, but unlimited water/tea/coffee and tasty breakfast are all an excellent addition to what he provides. Thank you Tom and best of luck!

Tom is the best person i have ever met. He tries to help you with everything to make you have the best possible stay here. I had rather unusual plans and he took 4 hours of his time to help me arrange everything, including bargaining with a driver for me. The place itself is pretty basic, when you stay here Tom himself is really what makes it worth it :)

Tom came to pick us up at the bus stop and got us to his place. This was very nice, as we were arriving in the very busy Bogor city center when it was already dark. He went with us to get some food, even though it was pretty late. The room was decent, although not very clean. Breakfast was very good, with some local fried banana and pineapple snacks as well as bread.

Dirty. For the same price you can find something more healthful, clean and organized. Tom is a nice guy but it doesn't make up for the run down building.

I ended up leaving right after arriving. The pictures are not updated. It's worse in real life. Some people don't mind it, and that's fine.

Amazing human being. The best host you can have. Tom will make you fell so welcome, besides hosting you he will take you around and help you with your next destinations
