The location is five stars, to me, as it is close to a supermarket selling fresh fruits, veggies, and healthy food, close to Kebun Raya, close to cafés and restaurants that are well-known in Bogor Tengah, close to a hospital (Siloam), etc.
But the room... Everything is tidy, but I can't appreciate the dusty shelf under the TV, spots on the bed sheet, pillow filling somehow uneven making it's not so comfortable to sleep, and the worst to me is how the room smells of stale tobacco smoke right after the AC was turned on. I instantly knew the previous visitor(s) smoked cigars inside the room. Cigar butts were also visible when I looked at what was under my room window on the side of the room facing outside of the building. This situation forced me to sleep with a face mask on because cigar smells made me dizzy.
I got what I paid, anyway. Which was why I didn't complain at all about what my room offered. But I hope honest review like this can still help.
I possibly will re-book, though. Because the hotel's near my office and cheap enough for me. But next time I think I will ask for a very specific non-smoking room because I really can't stand old cigar smoke smell. Well, unless the hotel owner can't provide it.
