A hidden gem in Pajajaran Road Bogor. This little Japanese Restaurant from decor to food makes you feel like your in Japan. With an original Japanese Sushi Man on the Helm, the taste od the sushi, sashimi, Ramen, bento are all good.

Found this place by accident, my son was hungry for some japanese food after a long out of town trip.... I was surprise at the authenticity of this place, from the decoration, the way that communicate, the ambiance to the Food they serve. The place is quite small which is okay kind of resembles typical sushi place in the back alleys of Tokyo. and of course the food... it was all good we ordered a bunch of stuff, from different types of sushi, the cawan mushi, sashimi to the various rolls.. we were satisfied with all the food we ordered, it is pricey, but looking at all the quality we get it was all worth it. .. very very recommended.

Nice service, the salmon soup has more meat than some place that is more expensive. It's better if they could add more veggies and mushrooms. You can also order the chef's recommendation which is beyond the menu.

Hidden gem in Bogor. Must try !
Authentic Japanese Restaurant for its taste, menu and ambients.
The chef/ owner is Japanese but he speaks Indonesian fluently.
The place is small, totally hidden and little bit hard to find on Jl Pajajaran. You search through google maps for directions to this place.
Kyoto Tei implements good health protocols. Their service is also good.

Tips:
Sashimi is my daughter's favorite. She said Salmon Sashimi Kyoto Tei was thick, fresh and the best so far in Bogor????
For me, Shoyu ramen is my favorite. It tastes good and nyummy.. ????
If you plan to dine-in for 4 or more people, you can reserve or choose the 2nd floor as there are bigger tables.
If it's only for 1-2 people, it's a wonderful experience to sit on the 1st floor in front of the chef who preparing sushi and enjoying the typical Japanese corner. Haha ????☺️

Fresh sashimi, good taste, definitely an authentic Japanese restaurant to come back. The portion also big so tummy will be full. The service is good, responsive and helpful staff. Can also pay with debit and credit card.

Lovery tradisional Izakaya style Japanese restaurant in Bogor. If you thought that you might hardly meet satisfying Japanese cuisine around this area, well this Kyoto tei us the place you should drop by.
It's kinda "daily" Izakaya menu doesn't bring you surprise, but you can tell the menu are made with love by just looking at these.
As of March 2021, there are no break time from lunch time opening until closing time after dinner.

The BEST Japanese food in Bogor! Everything I ordered was excellent. Sushi, sashimi, miso soup, bento box, were all top notch. The owner lived in Japan for many years. Highly recommended but be prepared to pay for the quality food.
