I was impressed at how empty this KFC was. Usually, most KFCs are packed with school kids and families dining in. But for once, my family and I were able to enjoy our dining experience and not to mention enjoy the new menu item, called Double Down.
Double Down has been introduced in foreign countries outside of Indonesia. The concept behind it is basically a burger item minus the burger buns.
Instead of burger buns, the top layer is KFC crispy chicken fillet, adorned with a slice of cheese, hash brown and lettuce and close with another piece of crispy chicken fillet. Those of you who love Mexican food, you must try the Double Down as it gets its flavor from the lime sauce that is smothered all over the chicken fillet, as KFC calls it, but basically tastes like taco sauce.
Unfortunately, this KFC does not have a play area, for those of you who wishes to dine in with children. Also, the entrance to the inner parking space is a bit peculiar and not to mention, unsafe, as it shares the same spot as the exit of the drive-thru.
