One of the good and cheap places to eat in Bengkulu. Madura satay with Sumatran flavor.

Great for family dinner. They served food quickly. I ordered sate kambing and sop kambing. It was delicious. Be aware for those of you who bring your own car since the parking area is always full.

Pondok Sate Madura Pak Liha is one of satay place that has been around for awhile and the most sought after satay for tourists for some reasons.

The satay is tasty. You can order chicken satay mix with fat, just chicken without any fat, goat meat or you can mix chicken and goat. The peanut sauce is so creamy and rich in flavor. Besides satay, this place also provides tongseng, ikan bakar and other dishes. Fresh juices are also available.

The location is in of the busy streets in Bengkulu where many restaurants are around, so the access is really easy.

What is lacking from this place is the air circulation. It's kinda hot and too crowded.

This sate is one of the best in town..its been there since long time ago..one of the first sate Madura..there are peanut or soy bean sauce for the sate..tasty enough to watering your mouth..???? but since it is in the main Street of city center, the parking is always full..people park here like crazy. ????
