This part of beaches in the city of Bengkulu where you can find fisherman community.

You can see many wooden boats here. If you're lucky, you also can buy fresh fish here.

It's nice to just sit herw viewing the ocean and snacking. Unfortunately, it's it dirty and smelly.

Sunset is beautiful here. In the morning, you can find local people, Malabero residents, selling food such as Nasi Santan (coconut steamed rice), Ketupek Santan ( dumpling made from rice packed inside a diamond-shaped container of woven palm leaf pouch, and steamed with coconut milk) etc along the Jalan Arraw near the beach. There is also dried fish seller near the beach. At Barukoto market building, there are local coffee shops, where you can enjoy coffee, teh talua with lontong tunjang (Cow foot tendon with coconut milk soup).
Local authorities should do something about the trash/rubbish on the beach.
