The driver smokes so if you hate cigarette smoke or even have asthma this is not the right tour service provider for you. I was told the tour package would include Ijen and Twin Waterfall but I only got to see Ijen Crater. It was partly my fault because I took long to reach the top (stopped plenty of times along the way and I even suggested that I just gave up because I was so tired but the guide kept encouraging me to go on) and the rest of the group had to wait for me. What I take issue with is that the driver did not consult with any of the tour participants about not going to Twin Waterfall. It was my first time joining an open trip and Ijen was amazing but Java Sunrise Tour has a lot to improve. If you have a flight the same day make sure to tell the tour service provider (any tour service provider) about it and make sure they can get you back in time for you to pack up.

We booked our tour in Probolingo at bayuangga tourist information and taxi service with a guy named Yasin. It was the bromo-kawah Ijen- Bali tour. We got lied to and things that were promised in the tour didn't happen, like the breakfast being included or staying very close to Ijen. Once we were in Banyuwangi and the team of Java sunrise tour took over, it got better. But still they work with people you cannot trust...

The location in the map should be changed because it points a different location(400 meters after the real location ). They provide some motors but just let you to come by your own there. Even if you ask them to drop the motor at karangasem station, which is just around 500 meters away, and you should walk to the office. I may say that some staffs are ignorant and when i go there to give the motor back, i should wait for the staff to come to the office. Fortunately i have spare time to catch my train. And when we tell about the motor condition, it seems that they just ignore it and do not have intention to improve it. They provide helmets also but OMG they are not safety at all: broken glass, broken helmet(and they still put it in the etalase!), no foam inside the helmet. The worst part is the staff say, "well, you know, rental helmets, the conditions are varied".
I think they can buy new ones or at least wash them (its smell). But well there arent many rentals there provided in internet, but you can find some right in front of karangasem station. You dont need to walk in the middle of sunny day, like i did. ????
