It's dangerous when you go at rainy day. i came there when it was raining, i almost died there when im going back. Also there are lots of leech, be careful, it's very annoying and disgusting.

Must visited place while at banyuwangi.
U need to climb down about 100m.. then cross 7 small rivers to reach this waterfall.

magnificent waterfall deep inside the forest.

The waterfall is really deep inside the forest. the drive is about 1.5 hours from Banyuwangi. please note that after 45 min drive, the road was really bad and eventually it will get worse. so recommend to take a motor bike( also recommended by a local) lots of locals go in motor bikes. I took car, but it was a complicated ride to reach the car park(lots of twists and turns). From the car park the hike starts, it was kind of a intermediate trail( I went on a rainy day, so it was even harder). Have to cross the river multiple times. good thing is there will be ropes to hold( only in some part). Recommend to wear flip flops, they are better to cross the river with bare foot. the last part was bit tricky to find the way. better to follow the river, it will take you to the waterfall.

Just a 30 minute hike hidden in the jungle this is an amazing waterfall of the beaten track. We couldn't find it right away but luckily we got helped out by Dickie, a local guide who can also accompany you to the waterfall. It's also possible to camp from where the path starts, there are basic but clean bucket shower and toilet facilities. It took us about 1 1/2 hrs from Banyuwangi to get there by bike cause we stopped quite a few times, last part of the journey is very panoramic. Definitely recommendable!
