Johanes and his team are amazing! They deserve all of the five stars I give them.

They were all helpful from the start which was the pick-up from the Banyuwangi harbour. Until the drop-off back to the Banyuwangi harbour. Johanes picked us up himself drove us to the homestay and gave us detailed instructions, tips u0026 warnings. Which was very helpful during the hike. At midnight his team Tulus and Hendrik picked us up and we drove to the entrance together. From then on we continued with Tulus and he was very informative during the entire hike. He also helped us at the tricky parts and took us to the sunrise point to have a marvelous view of the lake and the sulfur mine. And I can recommend the cake that Tulus offered us. We were happy to have him as our tour guide.

After the hike, Hendrik drove us through a clove farm and a rubber farm. After our breakfast, they brought us from the homestay and drove us to the harbour.

They provided us a full service and it was very satisfying. We chose package C which included a homestay. It was called 1911 cafe u0026 resto. The homestay was the least satisfying part of the entire journey. Due to the amount of dead insect it didn't feel clean, and the shower didn't provide enough hot water. I will write a separate review about that. I recommend Johanes to work with a different homestay to provide the perfect service. But he offers another option package B, without a homestay. For now, I would recommend taking package B and finding another staying place since he picks you up from your staying place at midnight.

Really cannot recommend Johanes and his team enough. We came into our 2d1n Bromo and Ijen tour expecting it to be good, but we never ever expected the level of service we received. Both hotels were exceptional, both of our guides Wawan and Arif ex miner ere incredible, and our driver Yudi did everything to make it all as easy as possible. The tour is toring given the wake up times, however there was coffee and snacks provided both days before starting, and they even covered our ferry cost to Bali once the tour had finished. Exceptional service!!

We had an amazing 3 days with Arief (ex miner) and our driver Hendrik. We visited Ijen, Madakaripura Waterfall u0026 Bromo.

They were very professional and we had lots of laughs and learnt a lot. Arief is very knowledgeable about all of the spots, especially Ijen as he is an ex miner.

I would recommend this company for your tour, they have a competitive rate and provide great accommodation in the multi-day package.

Fantastic service and experience from our guide Denis and driver Nino. Picked us up on time, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Took lots of pictures for us on Ijen. We successfully saw the blue flames despite online comments saying how difficult it would be.

Afterwards took us to see coffee, rubber and clove plantations, followed by a waterfall. We asked for food recommendations at the end and they took us to a restaurant owned by a famous Indonesian singer, we were super lucky to meet her there. She was super friendly, helped us navigate menu and even gave us some dishes for free. Best experience of our 3 week Indonesian trip.

Had my 1 day trip last weekend to Mt. Ijen. It was a really pleasant experience. Our guide, Mr. Tulus was very acommodating and fun! Blue Flame was a very profesional and on time tour provider.

We did ijen + bromo tour with our guide arif (ex miner) and ali our driver.
We really enjoyed all the tour, the volcano were very impressive, the accommodations were nice and the tour has been bery well organized. ????

Fantastic tour with our guide denish.

Communication was perfect we knew exactly what to expect and you always surpassed our expectations at every part of the tour. He brought us free fantastic Indonesian cake; he brought us to the best viewpoints, he took absolutely fantastic pictures we can use for social media and Instagram.

He voluntarily following our wish to the 201 and a half hours longer than it was actually planned we were among the last ones to actually leave the volcano because we wanted to stay on top and continue enjoying the sunrise he was very fine with that.

Also Denish had great stories to share and we had a day full of laughter

He fulfilled all our wishes and he and the team habe my fill recommendation.

Also, the orga team around johanes helped to find safe parking spot and free pickup at gilimanuk harbours so that I did not have to park my scooter overnight in the public space. Else, very punctual, reliable, safe driving. Everything correct and perfect. Thanks Denish and ali (driver)
