The resort is beautiful, and the staff is very kind and friendly. For sure covid impacted a lot on their business here, and now only 2 people are managing the entire garden, restaurant and rooms.
They are doing an amazing job and hope they'll expand their business once again now that they are finally able to re-open.
Position is perfect for ijen excursion!
SUSTAIN! You won't regret it! ????

The road leading to this hotel is quite far and rough. You better have an experienced driver and a GPS navigation.

Nevertheless, the hotel itself is worth the journey if you're looking for a peaceful escape. The room is good, the view is also good. The food are standard, but not bad and not expensive either.

The highlight of this hotel in my opinion is their staff. They're very friendly and helpful.

Location was a bit hard to find. I booked a deluxe room and on the first day had 3 blackouts in the first 6 hours, rarely had any hot water, tap water was disgusting (pretty sure my family got sick because of it), was swarming with crickets (even woke up to a cricket flying to my ear), the AC was barely doing anything, TV was in a bad location (could only watch comfortably on the couch). Food was not great, and the service took a while. WiFi was only available in the restaurant not in the rooms, signal wasn't good either. But the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall would I book again? No, especially when the price is Rp.700K+ for a night. I'd saw look for another option, heard Grand Harvest pricing was almost the same.

I got a lovely view from my room. Tons of various food, indonesian's traditional, american, even japanese. Good food. The road access is surprisingly near from Ijen Crater. Recommended place for having a silent night far away from crowd

This Resort has a good location at the western part Jelun Village.
Its generally a cool place (310 M above sea level), where you dont have to to swith on the Aircond in your room, on the contrary you have to functionally check your bathroom heater before the room acceptance. To what I have experiance on the 17-18 June 2018, one of the room has and intermittant water heater (one min ON and OFF) whereas the other two room had an interval of 15 Min ON and OFF. Most of its superior room is well equiped and reasonable furnished. Enjoy your Trip

It's gorgeous. Very helpful staff. We enjoyed food there. Swimming pool has amazing view onto rice terraces.

The view was breathtaking, such an amazing traditional interior, but... It's in the middle of nowhere, literally, getting there quiet a bit of a journey, with bumpy road for 20 minutes from nicer road also in the middle of nowhere, it's breathtaking-amazing-jail, with ducks, water ???? Buffalo, monitor lizard, and snake, umm, the pool was mediocre type, will be more if tiles change to black and if it's infinity pool, the water so bad, not in the taste but in colour it's like mixed with mud, it's on your sink, toilet and shower, so, you get the idea of it, and my room at number 96, hot water was not worked out, they tried to fix it tho... Just sometimes trying is not enough... So...
