Never judge a book by its cover is true for Banyu Homestay. This Homestay is pocket friendly. It has amazing garden inside. The entrance is through small passage. It has good WiFi. The owner is a thorough gentleman. Supported us to get driver and guide for Kawah Ijen trip. Came to woke us up at 2AM night. There is private big garden behind Homestay which Owner took us to have a look. Rooms are small but have a big bathroom. Rooms are good for Couple but may not be fit for family.

All the staff of the homestay is so friendly and kind. They will help for everything you need. They speak well English. I booked an economic room and they upgraded into a best room for the same price. The room was huge with A/C and a private bathroom. The garden is wonderful. The owner made a great job. A lot of trees and plants. You can taste the fruits from the garden. I recommend to all travelers !!!

The staff is extremely friendly ! And speak very well English. Great place to stay before going to open and after to have a rest. The place is very clean, beautiful garden. The room are pretty standard but comfortable. There is possibility to cook for yourself at the hotel otherwise a lot of small local restaurant are near by. Definetly recommended

Really nice place, small but clean and new rooms in the middle of a beautifull garden, nice kitchen to use, very friendly and helpfull staff.
Special thanks to Armini and Catur, they do a great job...

Good and green place. But the small room for my family with 2 children. They have good service and can ushered you go to Karangasem station

Gteat staff,great place,very silent and cozy. It has a nice garden,and a small kitchen to have coffe and tea....we liked it very much
