Beautiful place surrounded by lush greenery and a river! Fell asleep to the sound of the flowing river. Muji and the team made our short stay very memorable. Would come back and recommend for nature lovers. ????????

Saw some reviews complaining about bugs. It’s an open spaced place situated in a nature-rich area so of course you’ll see insects. Didn’t bother us at all.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature. I really like the beautiful view from our bedroom, the house and surrounding garden. It is also close to mount Ijen. The owner is very helpful - rented to us his scooter and suggested very good places for our next destination. We regret we didn't stay longer, because there are so many things to see and enjoy close to that place.

Amazing place with beautiful view! The breakfast great and stuff very lovely and happy to help with everything.
I'm highly recommend to stay there for 2-3 nights and to travel around,an amazing experience guaranteed!

It is a nice Bamboo Bu0026B. It is very clean. We booked the private 'room' with private shower. It is the only one. We paid 500.000rp per night which i think it was a bit too much but nice stay. It is in deserted area and not sure if it is worth the money. The closest shop/restaurant is about 15 mins walk which we didnt go. It is quite noisy from the waterfall right below the cottage. In the main bamboo cottage there are shared rooms and bathrooms. Unfortunatelly we end up alone in the whole place. No other tourist and the restaurant was closed so we could not eat anything, unless walking. GRAB is not working because it is quite far to Banuywangi city. We thought it is a great place to be closer to Crater Iljen but you ned up paying the same price as stayimg in the city. The hotel charges 150.000 for transfer to train station/ferry/Airport. The grab would be 80.000 to 100.000 but there was no service. We booked a tour to Iljen... 500.000 transport plus 200.000 guide and 40.000 per person for torch and mask. However you pay extra 100.000 the entrance fee per person and they could have told us in the Hostel. The guide amd driver was friendly amd welcoming. Breakfast was very simple.. egg omelette and 2 slices of bread, coffee or tea and bowl of fruit but we were asked at the checkin to choose. You can also buy some drinks there. Overall, it would be better with more people to hang out and fan in the room would be great because it was too hot.

What a great find on the way to Ijen! The structure at Bamboo and B is well-designed and functional. There is a cool space to hang out on the top floor with plenty of electrical outlets, wifi, hammocks, and even a guitar to enjoy. The bathrooms are clean with hot water, which isn't as easy to find as you might think for this price. We technically did not stay in the rooms as we parked our campervan here, but the staff and owner were extremely accommodating and gave us helpful tips for our travels. The driver we booked through them for Ijen was fairly priced and friendly. The adjoining restaurant provides good lunch and dinner options, and there are other warungs within walking distance if you're staying for a while and looking for more variety.
