first time i got here and i won't recommend this restaurant to anyone. for food it's quite good, i like the satay kulit. tahu bejeg is good, too spicy but quite good (6.000). oseng mercon is very expensive, 18.000 and you only got small bowl. and i don't get sambal (you can see on display that "free sambal u0026 lalab"). no tisu and spoon too on the table. AND HERE'S THE BEST PART. the service is very very very very bad! all staff, literally ALL STAFF are unfriendly, not smile, short talk. i asked for spoon, and the staff look at me like this emoji ????????. and then he walked to kitchen, and then asked me again: "what? soy sauce?" LIKE WHAT? CAN YOU SEE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN "sendok" and "kecap"? oh for layout, it's bad at all! all dish + plate + rice are on the same table, which is so confusing because when i want to get the rice, the staff rejected me, he said that they will take it for us. okay then. then i want to take tahu bejeg, which is so gross if i took it and put it on an aluminum plate (because i put pepes and raw dish there), so i asked for plate, and then they tell me that it can be order on cashier. if you have rules like that, so don't mix all dish on the same table. just put rice and cooked side dish on the cashier like warteg, so we aren't confused which dish can we took by ourself.

Tried this after watching on Youtube by famous Indonesian Culinary reviewer. and it was really amazing. the place is nearby PVJ mall so you won't miss it.

This place gives variety of food from pepes, tofu, chicken, duck, etc. These foods freshly processed theough fried or roasted. Then completed with hot sambals. The price is reasonable.

For you who's looking for late night meal that will serve quickly but not sth like junk food, you can come here.
The service was great and there is various menu you can choose. They even have marinated fish ready to be grilled on the spot if you want it.
The price depends on what and the amount of menus you take, then they'll warm it up before being served on your table. Our bill was IDR 46k for two persons.
As for the taste, it was fine. I had Pepes Ayam and it was a bit too salty, tbh, but the other menu was pretty good, tho.

For me, the wait time at night during busy times (I went there at 21.30) is too long. The food is not worth the wait. It's just a standard sundanese restaurant. What's special about zona merah is probably the very spicy sambal and also the restaurant is open until 4 am. But only that. The price is a little bit more expensive than others.
Overall, don't come here in busy times.
