Room is OK. Well maintained, but feel quite old compared to other more modern hotels these days. Don't like the smell going into the room. My wife said that the smell came from the sanitiser liquid available in the room.

We stayed with two little kids for 2 nights in Classic room. A five star hotel that stays true to the status. The carpeted room is large and clean. The bathroom is also large with a rain shower and a bathtub with complete set of toiletries.
The complimentary birthday cake is not overly sweet. Delicious.
It has a wide array of breakfast selection. From nasi uduk and bubur ayam to sushi and crepes. The pastries are excellent.
The pool is properly maintained. There are two kid-size pools too.
Fantastic stay in a classic elegant hotel. Will definitely revisit.

Overall impression and Experience: (5/5) EXCELLENT
This is my second time in Bandung and my first time at The Papandayan Hotel which is located at Jl. Gatot Subroto 83, Bandung 40262 Indonesia. The Papandayan is a luxurious 5-star hotel that offers more than 170 rooms and suites. There's a stage where live music is performed and there is a kid-playing room/club as well as a back garden with fish. The management and all members put their customers at the highest priority. The hotel reflects the highest standards of hospitality and service quality. The hotel is a 15-20-minute drive from Airport. We booked 3 x Classic Rooms out of which one was upgraded free of charge to Suite Premiere. Rooms are large (32m2) and have air conditions, food is very good and the staffs are extremely supportive. We were offered an extra bed free of charge. Unfortunately, Sauna was closed due to Covid-19. The only downside is the hotel is you might hear the motorbikes if you stay on the lower floors. However, the sound does not prevent you from sleeping. I recommend having soundproof windows, especially in the Suite Premiere.
We were celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary and the hotel has prepared our suite to reflect our celebration. Our astonishing experience started at the airport where Mr. Agus Susanto was waiting for us with a large HIAS car. Cold towels were offered in the car itself. Free Cake, chocolates, cookies, flowers, fruits, and drinks were provided at our suite. The bed was decorated for honeymooners. Food was delicious at PAGO Restaurant. The hotel management and all team members have made our stay exceptional and therefore we cannot forget our great experience in this hotel.

This hotel is so cozy, nice, neat, clean, tide and have excellent services u0026 hospitality.
It makes me feel like in my bedroom????

Albeit slightly old, it's still very good. Love the service and breakfast. It's a very good choice for someone who want to stay in downtown.

Stay here once again after years… and the Pandemic.
I still sense the atmosphere of comfort.. and feels like home. Yet the hotel is aging— it feels like an old hotel now… maybe it is time for “rejuvenate”☺️???????? (I have experienced the old Papandayan over 20 years ago, the newly renovated back in 2011..)

The service is still good—all staffs are friendly and helpful..
Check-in and check-out were easy and fast.

Last minutes booking works really well????????

PS: try the express 3-hours laundry.. and it is on-point!????????
