If I could give this no stars, I really would.
Stayed here for a weekend trip, so only a short stay, when we booked we payed extra for breakfast included only to find out that they don’t serve any breakfast and we wouldn’t get that additional cost back.
When we arrive in the room, for a 4 star hotel the quality of the room is poor. The white walls are barely white, the decor is falling apart and the smell of must and old cigarettes covers everything including the towels.
There is nothing provided in the rooms except two very thin towels.
Considering the heat, in a 4 star hotel you’d expect good air con, unfortunately they can’t seem to provide that.
We slept terribly on the first night due to the beds being rock solid and provided one small pillow each.
The next morning we asked for a refund and we would leave, this was denied and we were only offered to move rooms- which we did. Of course this new room is the exact same, terrible smell and falling apart.
We ask for an extra pillow each to which the receptionist said they would “need to ask permission from housekeeping”
Later that night we come back to the room, which in the morning we had used the towels and showered so requested house keeping - we come back to find house keeping hadn’t been and we had to go again to reception and ask for new towels (of course they had to ask permission from house keeping again as they apparently don’t have enough towels for all guests - again as a 4 star hotel you’d think they had plenty to spare)
When we come back later on also we find ants have infested the bathroom and crawling everywhere. We managed to sort most of this ourself before security come busting in at 1am to spray ant and fly killer throughout out whole room - to which you can imagine is not healthy for either of us before we sleep but also in a room with zero ventilation, having to sleep with musty smell and smell of chemical spray.
Out stay here was awful, would call this more of a two star hotel than 4 star. The rooms are dirty and broken, the cleanliness isn’t to standard and comfort isn’t much better.
As well as this, they don’t provide breakfast or any in room tea or coffee and when requesting something for the room, you have to wait for them to get permission from housekeeping.
