Frequently bought baso tahu from mang ade for years! For my own lunch, meeting with my friends and even family gathering on eid, there always baso tahu.
Price and size of baso tahu was reasonable. Tasty tho. I prefer to eat only with 'kecap anggur'. I am firm believer that 'kecap anggur' and baso tahu were match made in heaven.
Every order (at ternate, through whatsapp, or even at peak season such as eid) was relatively smooth except one.
There was one time i had "meh" experience with mang ade. I was on my way to jakarta in a hurry but i also need "oleh-oleh" from bandung. So i had an idea, i ordered from gojek to pick up by myself.
As you know, the price listed on gojek way higher than we bought directly, but I was willing to pay that amount because i was expecting my order ready to pick-up when i arrived without having a queue.
Turns out my ordered was not ready yet ????. i just clowned myself.
Moral of story,
1. just order directly in advance and tell them you are going to pick your baso tahu at ternate. Payment can be done by bank transfer.
2. Never use gojek or similar app if you are in hurry. Walk-in was the best option.
3. I only had one unpleasant experience. Compared to plenty of pleasant experiences, i feels nothing.
So i still recommend baso tahu mang ade. ????????
